Vision is constantly expanding and adapting to financial and business changes. We strive to be proactive in our approach to the present climate, both in the financial and environmental field.
We believe we make the difference; we are steered by client needs and prepared to go that extra mile for all our employees and clients. Our commitment to providing a responsive service providing the best advice and solutions is second to none.
We will never compromise the quality and support we offer all our clients and we apply the same standard to our employees.
Vision Doing it Green!
Vision is keen to tackle environmental issues and has had an Environmental Policy in place since January 2008.
By enforcing a "no fires" rule at the sites we work on, we are helping to prevent pollution and preserve local air quality.
We also aim to minimise the wastes arising from our construction activities, to re-use or recycle wastes that do arise wherever possible (e.g. as aggregate for construction work), and manage any wastes that are produced in a responsible manner.
We provide all of our properties with Energy Saving Light bulbs which are low wattage.
Within all of our Care Homes and ‘Move-On’ projects we supply Recycling facilities, and manage the use of them.
Vision’s Head office purchases Recycled paper, that paper is used both sided and, when disposed of it is shredded and put in to a Paper Bank at our local supermarket.
We have a strict policy with regards to our PC’s and Machinery. The policy states, “All PC’s and computer equipment is to be turned off, at the end of every day. Break times and long periods away from the machinery must be put on to Power Saving Mode”. We have activated energy saving software on all of our PC’s to make sure we are using the least amount of energy when PC’s are not in use. Since having this policy in place, we have saved a huge amount of money, and feel we are doing our bit to help the environment.
Vision Healthcare
Vision Healthcare has recently secured two new facilities within Exeter, Devon enabling Vision to offer 5 Star Luxury Care Accommodation for Learning Difficulties, Young Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Elderly Residential and Nursing Care, Complex Needs Clients and Respite Care.
At Vision we care about our service users and provide the highest standards of private health care.
We view the person firmly in the middle of everything that we do, with several care services available to meeting a variety of specialist healthcare needs. All of our specialist health care services are registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, (CQC) and Ofsted, when applicable.
When you have to make sensitive choices about the type of healthcare services people require, we are here to help. We will also guide private and public healthcare service users through our diverse services as their lives develop and their needs change.
We employ highly motivated people to deliver care and support with extensive training, effective management and career progression. Our staff take ownership and pride in the care they deliver. Our low staff turnover mean our service users benefit from consistency of care and trust that can come from long term working relationships.
Vision services are underpinned by the following values:
Choice: Making choices, such as where you live and who you live with are regarded in our society as basic human rights. We are continually developing our services and are happy to discuss bespoke care packages for individuals, couples or groups of people who wish to receive healthcare support together.
Empowerment: We endeavour to support you to make your own decisions and take control of your life. At Vision, we acknowledge this shift in the balance of power which is necessary to adequately meet individual needs.
Individuality: Vision is committed to ensuring that the staff teams respond and work with each person as an individual, with their unique personality, strengths and perspective.
Privacy & Dignity: Vision is committed to recognising and valuing service users as equal citizens. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that service user’s dignity is respected at all times and that they are not exposed to situations which would cause humiliation, embarrassment, personal or emotional discomfort.
When considering one of our healthcare services we want you to come and visit and see for yourself how we operate. It’s not an easy decision to make at an emotional time for the family and we are happy to provide you with any information that you feel will help you reach that decision.
Supported Housing Needs
We recognise that there are many reasons people become homeless, require temporary housing or a place of safety and provide a range of different accommodation to fulfil their requirements.
All our accommodation is well appointed and of the highest standard whether it be a single or multiple room, a lifestyle suite or a family flat. Some of our houses and hotels are staffed 24 hours a day and offer administrative support and care whilst others provide independent living in a safe environment.
Our lifestyle rooms are all fitted with en-suite facilities and have a kitchenette so that the guest(s) can prepare meals and cook as they want. These newly finished bright airy rooms are available as single, double or family lifestyle suites.
Other accommodation includes well-appointed single, double or family rooms, most of which are en-suite and in many, breakfast is included.
We also have family flats so that larger families in need of housing can be helped. These well appointed flats consist of kitchen/diners sitting room, bathroom and bedrooms.
