Devon based Vision UK quadrupling workforce

A Devon care home company is more than quadrupling its workforce as part of an £8.5m investment plan.

Exeter-based Vision UK is to build three new care homes in Cullompton and Exeter, a care hotel in east Devon and a mother and baby unit in Cornwall.

The investment will increase the company's workforce from 30 to 140.

The company said it hoped to create modern facilities to help with a range of social needs. It has properties in Devon and Somerset.

The planned care hotel will provide support for individuals who are in transition towards independent living, the company said.
