Main Responsibility
To increase the profitability of Vision's existing non-care residential sector, including the Royal Ashton Hotel and Blenheim House, and diversify and develop services to work with women, children and clients with drug and alcohol challenges complimenting and extending the existing provision.
Background
Richard left the Chief Executive post at lampton Court, a residential drug and alcohol treatment centre, to join the Vision team, Prior to Lampton Court he led the Fundraising and Communications team for the Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoners Trust (RAPt), the largest provider of treatment and CARAT services in the custodial sector, at their head office in London.
Before being invited to work for RAPt he ran a consultancy assisting a broad range of organisations with business development issues and co-founded Believe, a charity for homeless and substance misusing people in Bristol. He has held the positions of Chief Executive of the Coalition of Disabled People South Devon, Branch Director of Redbridge and Waltham Forest Samaritan, Head of Fundraising and Communications for C-FAR, a charitably funded residential rehabilitation centre for prolific offenders and as a detached youth worker.
